CUSTOMER CASE · CLAES RETAIL GROUP

One supply chain. One version of the truth.

Claes Retail Group needed a single, reliable view on supplier follow-up, production tracking and transport progress across its multi-brand fashion supply chain. SCOPTIS helped translate that complexity into a global supplier platform that gives suppliers, forwarders and internal teams one shared way of working.

Fashion retail depends on timing, visibility and partner collaboration.

Claes Retail Group unites JBC, CKS and Mayerline. Behind those brands is a global supply chain with suppliers, forwarders, logistics teams, buying teams and retail planning all depending on the same flow of information. When that information is fragmented, the business loses the shared visibility it needs to keep products moving towards the stores.

01

Multiple brands

JBC, CKS and Mayerline each have their own collections, planning rhythm and retail priorities.

02

Global suppliers

Production updates and goods-ready dates need to be collected consistently across many partners.

03

Transport partners

Forwarders need to provide progress updates so CRG can track shipments and arrival timelines.

Important supply chain information was spread across tools, emails and files.

Supplier production updates, goods-ready dates, shipping schedules and transport feedback were not available in one central place. That made it difficult for global supply chain, logistics and buying teams to maintain a clear, real-time view of order progress and arrival timelines.

The lack of one reliable source of information also made it harder to forecast transport capacity, track milestones and ensure on-time, in-full deliveries to stores in line with sales and marketing planning.

Before building the portal, SCOPTIS redesigned the way of working.

SCOPTIS took on the role of business process re-engineer. Together with stakeholders from global supply chain, logistics and buying, we mapped existing workflows, identified inefficiencies and defined a standardized end-to-end process for supplier follow-up, production tracking and transport management.

This process-first step was essential. The goal was not simply to digitize existing communication. The goal was to create one shared operating model that suppliers, forwarders and internal teams could all use reliably.

Map

Understand current supplier follow-up, production tracking and transport management flows.

Standardize

Define a common process and consistent milestones across brands, suppliers and forwarders.

Translate

Turn the process into a global supplier portal with clear roles, data and responsibilities.

A global supplier platform became the shared workspace for all parties.

The new process was translated into a global supplier portal, designed and implemented by SCOPTIS. The platform centralizes all purchase orders for JBC, CKS and Mayerline, creating a single source of truth for suppliers, forwarders and internal teams.

Suppliers share logistics information and estimated goods-ready dates through the portal. Once production is complete, shipments are booked directly with appointed forwarders. Forwarders then provide continuous updates on transport progress and arrival times.

The platform does more than collect data. It coordinates the process.

CRG is a clear example of how integration and orchestration reinforce each other. Integration makes supplier, purchase order, shipment and transport data available in one environment. Orchestration makes that data actionable by guiding suppliers, forwarders and internal teams through the right steps at the right moment.

Integration

Centralize purchase orders, logistics information, goods-ready dates, shipment bookings and transport updates.

Orchestration

Structure who provides which information, when it is needed, which milestone comes next and where exceptions require attention.

Collaboration

Give suppliers, forwarders and CRG teams one shared process instead of disconnected communication streams.

A shared view changed how teams and partners work together.

The platform creates value because it gives each participant the same reliable picture of the supply chain, while still showing the information that matters for their own role.

Buying teams

Clearer follow-up on production status, supplier commitments and expected availability.

Logistics teams

Better insight into shipment planning, transport capacity and arrival timelines.

Suppliers

A structured way to share production updates, goods-ready dates and shipment information.

Forwarders

A central process for booking shipments and updating transport progress.

End-to-end supply chain visibility, from purchase order to warehouse delivery.

By combining process optimization and digital transformation, SCOPTIS helped CRG gain transparency, improve collaboration with partners and establish a scalable foundation for future supply chain growth.
