From fragmented data to a unified supply chain view — Empowering CRG with end-to-end transparency and control

Claes Retail Groep (CRG) is one of Belgium’s leading fashion retail groups, uniting three strong brands — JBC, CKS, and Mayerline — each with its own identity, audience, and retail approach. Together, they form a multi-brand ecosystem that connects with customers of all ages and styles, both online and in stores.
Through omnichannel experiences, innovative store concepts, and cross-border expansion into markets like the Netherlands, CRG continues to evolve as a forward-thinking fashion group that combines scale, creativity and sustainability.
“The implementation of our global supplier platform has been a real game changer for Claes Retail Groep. For the first time, all supplier and transport information is centralized, giving our teams full visibility and control across the supply chain. The professionals at Scoptis guided us with great leadership, knowledge, and experience toward a successful implementation — turning a complex process into a clear and efficient way of working.”

CRG - The challenge
With three dynamic fashion brands — JBC, CKS, and Mayerline — Claes Retail Groep (CRG) manages a complex global supply chain that connects suppliers, logistics partners, and retail operations across multiple markets.
Before this project, essential information such as supplier production updates and transport feedback from forwarders was spread across different tools, emails and files. This fragmented approach often led to inconsistent data, limited transparency and delayed insights.
For CRG’s global supply chain, logistics and buying teams, it was increasingly difficult to maintain a clear, real-time view of order progress, shipping schedules and arrival timelines. The lack of a single, reliable source of information made it challenging to forecast transport capacity, track key milestones and ensure on-time, in-full deliveries to stores in line with sales and marketing planning.
To continue delivering on its promise of reliability and operational excellence, CRG set out to unify its supplier and logistics data into one transparent, consistent and collaborative environment.
The Approach & Outcome
To address CRG’s challenge, Scoptis took on the role of business process re-engineer, working closely with stakeholders from the global supply chain, logistics and buying teams. Together, they mapped existing workflows, identified inefficiencies and defined a standardized end-to-end process for supplier follow-up, production tracking and transport management.
This new process was then translated into a global supplier portal, designed and implemented by Scoptis. The platform centralizes all purchase orders for JBC, CKS and Mayerline, creating a single source of truth for all parties involved — suppliers, forwarders and internal teams.
Through the portal, suppliers share logistics information and estimated goods-ready dates, helping CRG forecast global transport capacity. Once production is complete, shipments are booked directly with appointed forwarders through the platform, who in turn provide continuous updates on transport progress and arrival times.
The result is end-to-end supply chain visibility — from purchase order creation to warehouse delivery. Multiple milestones are tracked automatically, ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries aligned with sales and marketing planning.
By combining process optimization and digital transformation, Scoptis helped CRG gain full transparency, improved collaboration with partners and established a scalable foundation for future growth.
The Result
The partnership between Claes Retail Groep (CRG) and Scoptis has brought structure, transparency and efficiency to CRG’s global supply chain. With one centralized platform, all supplier and transport data are now aligned — giving every team a single, reliable source of truth.
This transformation enables real-time visibility, better capacity planning and smoother coordination between suppliers, forwarders and internal teams. Deliveries are now on time and in full, supporting CRG’s retail operations and ensuring products reach stores in line with sales and marketing plans.
